All players must be current members of either the PPA or APA (Membership forms will be available at
Eligibility for Tour Championship:
Pro: 1. Play 7 GLT events (must include at least 1 weekend of non-combined events).
A. A player can play the 3 weekends of non-combined events.
B. A player can play 2 wknds of non-combined events plus 1 wknd of combined events.
C. A player can play 1 wknd of non-combined events plus 2 wknds of combined events.
D. 1 designated wknd on the Virginia tour may be substituted for 1 GLT wknd. Designated wknds are Charlottesville and Roanoke.
2. If a player fails to become eligible by 1 of the methods listed above, he or she may buy in.
A. For 5 or 6 events played on GLT, buy in will be $20.00 for each event short.
B. For 3 to 4 events played on GLT, buy in will be $25.00 for each event short.
C. If less than 3 events played on GLT, buy in is not available.
For purposes of counting events, playing both days in Monroeville will count as 3 events.
Playing in a National event (Memphis, Augusta, or Richmond) can be counted as playing a
combined weekend. (This option is available 1 time only)
Am: 4 GLT events or 3 GLT events with 1 Buy-in.
Pro: $ 25.00
Pro: $ 50.00 for 3 round events, $ 65.00 for 4 round events, $ 10.00 Greens Fee/Day
Entry fee for combined events will be $ 70.00/day plus Greens Fees
Am: $ 20.00 for all tournaments (includes Greens Fees)
Tour Championship Entry Fees:
Pro: $ 100.00 for players meeting the eligibility requirements listed above.
$ 100.00 plus buy-in requirements listed above. (if required to meet eligibility)
Am: $ 40.00
Pro: Same as last year (complete payout list will be available at each tournament).
Am: $ 20.00 Expense reimbursement for 1st place. $15.00 for other places (limited to ½ of field -
Pro: Awarded for Tom O’Brien, Ray Browning, NY State Champ, Tour Championship.
Am: Awarded for all events.
Both Pro and Am divisions will use a point system. (See POY letter for explanation for pro division)

4. Others drawn randomly
For 2nd events on same day:
1. Champion from the morning tournament

Any ball on the approved USGA list (see www.proputters.org for approved list).
The players’ committee will be responsible for rulings on the course during tournaments.

Even though we pay Greens Fees to play on a course, we are still guests of that course and owner.
Our behavior on a course can have either a positive or negative effect on that owner’s business.
We, as a group, must make every effort to insure that our effect is not negative.
